Boyle County Rebels JV Clinches Lead In Fifth Inning For Victory Over Danville

 

Boyle County Rebels JV ran off with the lead late in the game in a 4-1 victory over Danville on Saturday. The game was tied at one with Boyle County Rebels JV batting in the top of the fifth when Coleman Stewart singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

 

In the first inning, Boyle County Rebels JV got their offense started when Stewart's sac fly scored one run for Boyle County Rebels JV.

 

Danville knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the fourth inning, when Blake Shelton doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

 

Brayden West took the win for Boyle County Rebels JVWest surrendered one run on three hits over five innings, striking out four and walking one.

 

Sam Matherly took the loss for Danville. The hurler surrendered four runs on three hits over five innings, striking out five and walking one.

 

Brayson Claunch led Boyle County Rebels JV with two hits in three at bats.
