Boyle County Varsity Rebels watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 5-1 loss to West Jessamine Colt Varsity on Monday.  West Jessamine Colt Varsity took the lead on a home run in the first inning.

West Jessamine Colt Varsity got things started in the first inning.  Smith homered on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs.

Davis led the West Jessamine Colt Varsity to victory on the mound. The hurler went five innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out nine.  Peters threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Eli Glasscock took the loss for Boyle County Varsity Rebels. Glasscock went five innings, allowing five runs on six hits and striking out seven.

West Jessamine Colt Varsity tallied two home runs on the day. Smith put one out in the first inning. Peters went yard in the third inning.

Kason Myers, Lawson Hon, Cole Sims, and Luke Gaffney all had one hit to lead Boyle County Varsity Rebels.  Boyle County Varsity Rebels was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Gaffney had the most chances in the field with nine.

West Jessamine Colt Varsity racked up six hits on the day.  Kearns and Uhls all had multiple hits for West Jessamine Colt Varsity.  West Jessamine Colt Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field. Morton had  13 chances in the field, the most on the team.
