Sage Dawson came the ballpark and meant business on Thursday, driving in six on three hits to lead Boyle County Varsity Rebels past Admirals 2022 9-6 on Thursday.  Dawson drove in runs on a grand slam in the first and a home run in the seventh.

There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Boyle County Varsity Rebels collected eight hits and Admirals 2022 had eight.

Boyle County Varsity Rebels got things moving in the first inning, when Dawson homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring four runs.

Lawson Hon was the winning pitcher for Boyle County Varsity Rebels. The righthander went three innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out one.  Cole Sims threw three and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Brady Baxter took the loss for Admirals 2022. The righty allowed one hit and four runs over one inning, striking out two.

Boyle County Varsity Rebels launched three home runs on the day. Dawson had a long ball in the first and seventh innings. Kason Myers went deep in the sixth inning.

Boyle County Varsity Rebels totaled eight hits.  Dawson and Sims all managed multiple hits for Boyle County Varsity Rebels.  Dawson led Boyle County Varsity Rebels with three hits in four at bats.

Admirals 2022 collected eight hits.  Baxter and Logan Smothers each collected multiple hits for Admirals 2022.  Baxter went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Admirals 2022 in hits.  Admirals 2022 didn't commit a single error in the field. Brady Morse had the most chances in the field with 12.
